Ocean Park Programme
On 19th October 2018, all F.1 students went on an excursion to Hong Kong Ocean Park. Students joined guided activities that day and discovered more about animals and their different perspectives. They had hands-on learning experiences and they acquired and constructed knowledge of animal conservation.
Students were divided into 4 groups and attended 4 different education programmes. At Polar Voyage, students visited the Polar Adventure and discovered the survival conditions of the polar animals. At Bamboo Eaters, students learnt the uniqueness of giant pandas and the natural threats that they are facing. At Ocean Treasures, students visited the Grand Aquarium and discovered the amazing behaviour of different marine creatures. At Rulers of the Ocean, students investigated why sharks rule the ocean and their importance to the ecosystem. All the students left with more knowledge and noteworthy information after participating in the programmes.
